Home/Advisory

45 minutes, then a plan you can run in four days.

Sometimes the answer is software we build. More often it's working out what to change first, and which tools already do the job. The operations assessment is where we find that out.

How the assessment works

1. We map the week

45 minutes on a call. You walk us through a normal week: how work comes in, who touches it, where it gets stuck, and what you end up doing twice. We ask a lot of questions and take a lot of notes.

2. You get the plan

A short written plan, in order, of what to change first. For each item: what it is, what it costs, how long it takes to set up, and how many hours a week it gives you back.

3. You run it

Everything on the plan is something you can switch on inside four days without hiring anyone. If you want a hand doing it, we can help, and if you'd rather crack on yourself, that's a good outcome too.

At least five hours a week, or you don't pay.

We're not going to charge you for a document that tells you what you already knew.

If the plan doesn't find you five hours a week you can genuinely take back, there's no fee. We'd rather turn down the work than take money for a list you can't use.

No hours found, no invoice.

Who this is for

  • Small businesses that run on people, not systems. Trades, services, agencies, anywhere the week is held together by messages and memory.
  • Owners still doing the admin themselves at eight in the evening.
  • Businesses that bought software and never really switched it on. Often the answer is already paid for and sitting unused.

What we won't do

We won't recommend building something when a £12 a month tool already does it. We don't take commission from any vendor we suggest, so there's nothing steering the advice.

And if we think you don't need us, we'll tell you on the call rather than write it up.

Who you'll be talking to

Rob, who spent 15 years in enterprise transformation, most of it replacing the HR systems large organisations run on. He does the same job here at a smaller scale. Nobody gets handed to a junior, because there isn't one. About us →
